The ideal candidate loves working with children and brings knowledge across Speech-Language Pathology, including the latest best practices for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing direct therapeutic interventions. Both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and CCC-SLPs are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Possession of or eligibility for Michigan SLP license (must have prior to start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; current CFY status also considered
- School-based and pediatric SLP experience highly desired
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload primarily consisting of 2nd and 3rd graders
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of elementary students in grades 2 and 3
- Conduct thorough assessments, draft IEPs, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver targeted intervention in line with students’ individualized needs and goals
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to facilitate student growth
- Track progress and maintain all required documentation for compliance and student records
