Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completed Clinical Fellowship and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings working with diverse student populations, particularly supporting low-incidence disabilities, strongly preferred
- State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt services to meet individual student needs and work closely with educational professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students at the Marple Education Center in Broomall, focusing on supporting those with more significant needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and maintain thorough documentation as part of the IEP process
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to deliver high-quality services in a supportive setting
- Contribute clinical expertise and participate in problem-solving for student-specific and programmatic needs
- Attend meetings and communicate progress with staff and families as needed
