Take the next step in your career serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Houston area. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity spans the school year, starting August 11, 2026 through May 26, 2027, supporting middle or high school students (grades 6-8 or 10-12 based on your preference) across campuses assigned with consideration to your ZIP code.
You will work a 37.5-hour week, providing the full spectrum of SLP services for a caseload of 50-60 students. This includes delivering therapy, conducting ARD meetings, completing evaluations and testing, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas FL SLP license (proof required)
- Fingerprint clearance for the district (those with current prints in the system may expedite this process)
- Experience with school-aged caseloads, ideally middle and/or high school
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Availability to work onsite for the entire academic contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in grades 6-8 and/or 10-12, supporting IEP goals
- Complete assessments, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Participate in ARD meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
- Balance a caseload of 50-60 students effectively
- Communicate regularly with staff, families, and students to ensure optimal service delivery
