You’ll collaborate on-site with middle or high school-aged students (grades 6-8 or 10-12, based on your preference), providing essential speech-language services. This full-time role (37.5 hours/week) spans the entire 2026-2027 academic year, allowing you to make a real impact from August through May.
Your expertise will be central to helping students achieve their goals, whether you are fully engaging in the spectrum of therapy services—conducting assessments, managing ARDs, implementing individualized therapy, and completing necessary testing—or if you prefer to provide supervision to support your colleagues. The caseload is thoughtfully assigned (50-60 students), and assignments will consider your home ZIP code for easier commutes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas SLP license and FL licensure (please attach images of your licenses when applying)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs) eager to start their careers in a supportive school environment
- Experience with adolescent populations in school settings preferred
- Comfortable providing comprehensive SLP services or supervision only
- Ability to pass district fingerprinting (existing prints may be used if already on file)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and deliver speech-language therapy to middle or high school students
- Complete required paperwork, documentation, and participate in ARDs
- Conduct formal testing and re-evaluations as needed
- Support multidisciplinary teams in developing and implementing IEPs
- Provide supervision to SLPAs or CFYs if desired
