You’ll provide essential communication and language development services in a dynamic school environment, with your campus assignments thoughtfully considered based on your location. This onsite position begins August 11, 2026 and continues through May 26, 2027, offering full-time hours throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current, active Texas SLP licensure (upload an image of your license required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings or relevant pediatric caseload preferred
- Fingerprinting required (prior district prints may fulfill this requirement)
- Comfortable working with grades 6–8 and/or 10–12, tailored to your strengths and preferences
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services, conduct assessments, and participate actively in ARD meetings
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 students, ensuring Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and state guidelines are met
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success across their school experience
- Maintain compliance documentation and contribute to student progress monitoring
- Work on-site, engaging directly with students, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
