Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Texas SLP licensure and Florida SLP licensure required
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 50-60 students
- Ability to perform comprehensive SLP duties including therapy, assessments, ARDs, and testing, or focus solely on supervision if desired
- Commitment to completing required fingerprinting and timely credentialing processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 6-8 or 10-12
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state policies
- Supervise and mentor fellow SLPs or CFYs, if interested in a supervisory track
- Adapt services and communication to meet the unique needs of each assigned school
