Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based opportunity. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within the school environment.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, special education professionals, and administrators to ensure coordinated student care.
- Accurately maintain all necessary documentation, progress notes, and compliance reports in line with state and district requirements.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing insights toward meaningful student goals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility for licensure via the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
- Kansas Department of Education certification/licensure (as required for school-based settings).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) applicants considered.
- Experience in school-based settings is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.
