In this position, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to support students’ success in the classroom.
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and parents to foster a unified approach to each student’s growth.
- Accurately document services and maintain progress reports according to state and district guidelines.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist in setting and reviewing student goals.
Required qualifications include:
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Kansas licensure through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts, or eligibility to obtain.
- Kansas Department of Education certification/licensure appropriate for school-based practice.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered based on district needs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.
- School-based experience is preferred but not required.
