Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP certification issued by the state of Minnesota (school certification required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Possession of (or eligibility for) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with school-aged children encouraged
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive environment
- Ability to work effectively and compassionately within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders using appropriate assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) targeting student needs and supporting academic success
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions, monitor progress, and document results in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to integrate speech and language goals within the classroom setting
- Conduct periodic screenings and contribute to team meetings regarding student progress and interventions
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and state requirements
