This contract assignment offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families while providing essential speech and language services to a diverse, dynamic student population in an itinerant role.
What you bring:
- A current State of Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Professional Educator License at Level 2, 3, or 4 (per state requirements)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Recent experience serving school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple school sites
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver direct and consultative interventions
Key responsibilities:
- Serve an itinerant caseload of students with a wide variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze data, and interpret results to guide service delivery
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and school teams
- Provide direct therapy services as well as consultation and training to staff
- Document progress, complete IEP paperwork, and adhere to all state and district compliance requirements
