Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication abilities and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions to help students achieve their communication goals
- Document progress, maintain timely records, and create detailed reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to guide student supports and strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that empowers students and builds confidence
