Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license in Delaware
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and state requirements
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop classroom strategies for student success
- Engage in professional development to remain current with best practices
