You’ll collaborate closely with an existing Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) while meeting the communication needs of a vibrant student community. Focus on assessment, intervention, and advocacy to empower learners and foster communication success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication disorder evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and the filled SLPA to support students’ progress
- Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide guidance for the SLPA as appropriate for team effectiveness
