Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Maryland SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain thorough, accurate progress notes and IEP documentation
- Provide consultative support and guidance to classroom staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
