Essential Qualifications:
- Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification (required)
- Strongly preferred: School-based SLP experience, especially with elementary students
- Demonstrated skill in providing speech-language therapy in school settings
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and documenting progress
- Familiarity with progress monitoring, clinical documentation, and caseload management
- Excellent collaboration skills with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Ability to work onsite for the full scheduled day (8:45 AM - 4:15 PM)
- Reliable transportation for commuting to school locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy for elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Participate in IEP meetings, supporting goal development and student advocacy
- Track and document student progress for ongoing case management
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Flexibly support changing caseload assignments as district needs evolve
