Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state of California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Expertise supporting pediatric and school-based populations (K-12)
- Skilled in providing teletherapy services to diverse learners
- Previous experience with IEPs, direct therapy, evaluations, and progress monitoring in educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable navigating technology platforms for remote service delivery
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging, evidence-based speech-language therapy sessions to students in a virtual, school-based setting
- Evaluate and assess students’ communication abilities and create individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with educators and caregivers to set personalized goals and ensure student progress
- Document assessments, treatment goals, and session notes in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student accommodations
- Monitor student progress and adapt therapeutic approaches as needed to foster success
