Desired Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid California CTC (Commission on Teacher Credentialing) clearance
- Demonstrated experience providing speech-language services within school settings
- Background working with K-8th grade populations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to K-8 students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Screen, assess, and evaluate students to determine eligibility and needs for speech/language intervention
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff on student progress and strategies for classroom success
- Document services provided and maintain thorough, timely student records in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
