School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Metairie, Louisiana

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Ability to successfully complete district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting requirements
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse school-aged caseload (specific age groups and number of schools assigned to be determined prior to start)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams and families
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reporting in compliance with district and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary collaboration as required
