What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working in school settings is desirable
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit
- Willingness to complete district-specific credentialing, including drug screening and fingerprinting
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to support student outcomes
- Manage a caseload and travel to assigned schools as needed
- Stay current with best practices and maintain accurate records for compliance
