Make a meaningful impact on students' lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near New Orleans. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
- Eligible for or hold active Louisiana state licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to complete a district drug screen and fingerprinting, and satisfy all credentialing requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across a range of ages and grade levels (specific caseload and school(s) to be determined)
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain necessary documentation and ensure compliance with all district and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and contribute to a positive learning environment
This full-time position (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar) provides the rewarding opportunity to help students achieve their highest potential in communication and learning.
