Deliver impactful speech therapy services to students in a dynamic school setting near the New Orleans area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist in this full-time, onsite role, you'll work closely with a collaborative educational team, helping students from various age groups achieve their communication goals.
Position Details:
- Contract assignment beginning as soon as possible and running through the end of May 2027.
- Full-time schedule (35 hours per week), Monday through Friday, aligned with the school calendar.
- School and caseload assignments will be detailed upon placement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active and current Louisiana state SLP license (candidates must be fully licensed prior to applying)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience a plus
- Ability to successfully complete all district and hiring credentialing, including required drug screen and fingerprints
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services according to IEPs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with IEP teams
- Adapt speech and language activities to meet diverse student needs
