Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in a school setting is a plus
- Ability to complete a district-specific background check, including drug screening and fingerprints
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting students across diverse backgrounds and age groups
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students as assigned
- Assess and document students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Complete required documentation, progress reports, and IEP contributions
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
- Adapt to caseload and site assignments as determined by the district
