Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Successful completion of district-required drug screening and fingerprinting
- School-based experience preferred, but those eager to work in educational settings are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students, supporting their communication and academic success
- Assess, diagnose, and create tailored plans of care for students with speech or language needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster student progress
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, IEPs, and student progress reports per school district regulations
- Adapt techniques and materials to meet various student needs across one or more school sites (school assignment(s) and caseload details to be determined)
