Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Harvey, LA

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure, or eligibility for state licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
- Experience in school-based settings or working with elementary-aged children is highly valued
- Ability to pass a drug screening and fingerprinting required by the school district
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with elementary-aged students, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet students’ specific needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
- Serve at one or more school locations on the west bank—exact assignments to be determined
