What You Need to Qualify:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Louisiana
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clear drug screening and fingerprinting per district and agency requirements
- Strong clinical skills for elementary-age caseloads
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to different campus settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, primarily elementary level
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Complete required documentation and participate in meetings as needed
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Role Details:
- Full-time, contract position: 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Contract runs from ASAP through 5/22/2026
- Number of campuses assigned to be determined
