Make a difference in the New Orleans area by supporting students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time, contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate professionals who are eager to deliver quality care to elementary-aged children in a dynamic school environment. You’ll play a key role in helping students improve communication skills and reach their full academic potential. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, with quick feedback and interview turnaround for candidates.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active, valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one in Louisiana
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience working with elementary school populations is a plus
- Ability to clear district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct onsite speech and language therapy services to assigned elementary school caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed
