Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy techniques as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students with a variety of needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
  • Deliver direct therapy services both individually and in small groups
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure optimal student outcomes
  • Provide training and support to school personnel regarding speech and language strategies and interventions
  • Engage actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
