Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy techniques as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with a variety of needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Deliver direct therapy services both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Provide training and support to school personnel regarding speech and language strategies and interventions
- Engage actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
