Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a varied caseload of students
  • Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and state requirements
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Offer guidance and resources to teachers and parents to support students’ communication development in classroom settings
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to deliver effective, evidence-based practices
