Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a varied caseload of students
- Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and state requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and parents to support students’ communication development in classroom settings
- Engage in ongoing professional development to deliver effective, evidence-based practices
