Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Indiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with IEP processes and working with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting specific goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Consult with teachers and other educational staff to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide screening, prevention strategies, and staff/family training as needed
