Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CDE license for Specialist Service Professionals (SSP)
- Experience in school-based SLP roles preferred
- Strong ability to work with K–5, and potentially grades 6–8
- Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech services for a caseload of 40–60 students, primarily in K–5, possibly some grades 6–8
- Serve at one school site, immersed within a supportive educational community
- Conduct assessments for special education eligibility
- Write and implement clear and comprehensive IEPs
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
