This contract opportunity offers full-time hours at a single site, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference for children in grades K-5, with the possibility of occasional involvement with middle school students.

You’ll be responsible for providing quality speech-language pathology services to a manageable caseload of 40-60 students. Using your strong assessment and intervention skills, you’ll help students meet their IEP goals, conduct thorough evaluations for special education eligibility, and contribute your insights during IEP meetings. Collaboration with caring educators and families is central to the role, ensuring well-rounded support for each child’s development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid CDE license for School Service Providers (SSP in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Experience working with a school-aged population, preferably K-5
  • Proficiency with conducting assessments, writing IEPs, and participating in team meetings
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language services to students
  • Complete thorough assessments for special education eligibility
  • Write and update IEPs, ensuring compliance and individualization
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain communication with school staff and families
