Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP license required
- Previous school-based SLP experience is essential
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered with supervision provided
- Must be able to complete district fingerprints and background check
- Openness to travel between two elementary campuses as needed
- SLPAs will not be considered for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver screening, evaluation, and therapy services for elementary students with communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate on IEPs with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate progress and recommendations to faculty and families
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding processes
