This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) dedicated to providing exceptional on-site services. You’ll manage elementary school caseloads, and some travel between two school sites may be required. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut SLP license required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is essential
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered with supervision provided
  • Must be able to complete district fingerprints and background check
  • Openness to travel between two elementary campuses as needed
  • SLPAs will not be considered for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver screening, evaluation, and therapy services for elementary students with communication needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate on IEPs with multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to faculty and families
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
  • Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding processes
