Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid California SLP licensure is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is essential
- Previous experience working in school settings with moderate to severe caseloads preferred
- SEIS Service Tracker familiarity strongly desired
- California CTC credentials required
- Itinerant flexibility for travel between school locations
- Strong organizational skills to balance multi-site responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students with moderate to severe needs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic systems, including SEIS Service Tracker
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, classroom staff, and families to maximize each student’s learning potential
- Travel between schools as an itinerant SLP to ensure continuity of care across caseloads
- Adhere to district, state, and professional guidelines for school-based speech services
