Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Mequon, WI
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with speech-language needs in a dynamic educational setting near Mequon, WI. This role offers two distinct leave assignments, serving students across a wide age and ability range—with exceptional resources and collaborative staff at every location.
Both assignments feature pre-organized caseloads and thoughtfully crafted schedules, freeing you up to focus on meaningful connections with students. For one leave, you’ll provide direct and consultative services to middle and high school students (grades 6th–18+), benefiting from a detailed IEP meeting schedule and abundant therapy materials already prepared. The schedule can be condensed into a four-day workweek, offering potential flexibility.
The second leave involves serving early learners (4K–3rd grade) at a single elementary campus, where you’ll join a supportive speech-language team. Material prep is minimized thanks to comprehensive digital resources and clear documentation outlining IEP timelines and therapy requirements.
Qualified candidates will have:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), or be completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy speech-language services
- Skill in developing and executing IEPs in line with federal/state guidelines
- Knowledge of assistive technology and evidence-based interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Willingness to adapt in a multi-building or single-building environment
Responsibilities include:
- Delivery of direct therapy and consultative speech-language services
- Progress monitoring, documentation, and teamwork with staff and families
- Participation in IEP meetings, assessments, and planning
- Use of robust pre-made and digital therapy materials, with minimal prep required
