Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
- Experience working in a K-12 school setting is beneficial
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose communication disorders, and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver therapy services to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team planning
- Document and track student progress, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
- Provide resources, strategies, and support for teachers and families
