Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active, valid SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong bilingual (English/Spanish or other relevant language) communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Committed to cultural competence and equitable student outcomes
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students ages PreK-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy tailored to students’ needs, both in group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning for student support
- Offer bilingual support to students and families to ensure access to services
