Step into a full-time, full school-year position supporting elementary students (Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade). Supervision comes from an outstanding Voco SLP, ensuring you have guidance and opportunities for collaboration. Before starting, each candidate will connect with the supervising SLP to ensure an excellent working relationship.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 months of experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Current, active California SLPA license
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills desirable, but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions for elementary caseload (TK-5)
- Collaborate with the onsite SLP to implement individualized education plans
- Serve as a resource for classroom teachers and families
- Document student progress and participate in ongoing team meetings
