School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Mechanicsville, Maryland

You’ll have a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, working seven-hour days, from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027. This role is ideal for SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates passionate about helping students achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC credential preferred; strong CFY applicants are welcome
- Experience providing school-based SLP services across K-12 student populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and individualized education plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support each child’s educational journey
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in meetings, IEP development, and professional growth opportunities
- Adapt therapy interventions to ensure accessibility and engagement for all students
