Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
- School-based SLP experience highly valued, but strong clinical skills and enthusiasm for school settings welcomed
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Commitment to Evidence-Based Practice and ongoing professional growth
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12th grade students per IEPs
- Evaluate students to determine eligibility for services and develop relevant, functional intervention goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of interventions, progress, and compliance within timelines
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other school professionals for comprehensive student support
- Participate in IEP meetings, reporting student progress and recommendations
- Support generalization of communication skills within classroom and school environments
- Engage in professional development opportunities offered by the school
