Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY applicants will be considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans and maintain accurate records
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Document progress, maintain compliance with all district and state regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
- Advocate for best practices in supporting students’ communication goals
- Offer guidance and resources to classroom staff for integration of communication strategies
