Exciting opportunities await for speech-language pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of K-12 students. Multiple contract positions are now available to cover maternity leaves, with assignments beginning at different times throughout the school year and the possibility to continue with an early intervention caseload until the end of the academic year.
In these full-time, 35-hour-per-week roles, you’ll be providing essential speech and language services alongside a dedicated school team. Coverages include:
- Position 1: Immediate start through mid-October
- Position 2: Mid-October through January
- Position 3: Mid-December through March
Each assignment is located close to Mechanicsburg and Hershey, offering the experience of working with diverse student populations in a supportive educational setting. Once the initial leave coverage is complete, you’ll have the option to extend your contract through the school year focusing on early intervention.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP - CCC certification required
- Pennsylvania SLP licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding support for student speech-language development
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
