School Speech Language Pathologist - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Embark on a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting students and schools as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Hershey and Harrisburg, PA. These contract positions provide immediate and flexible start dates aligned with maternity leaves, with the potential to continue through the end of the school year. Serve a diverse K-12 caseload and, following the leaves, transition into a meaningful early intervention role to positively impact young learners.
In these roles, you will benefit from a consistent 35-hour workweek and the support of welcoming school teams. Each position is scheduled as follows:
- Position 1: Available ASAP through mid-October
- Position 2: Mid-October to January
- Position 3: Mid-December to March
Complete any of these assignments and extend to the end of the school year in an early intervention setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but strong clinical SLPs eager to work with K-12 and early childhood populations are encouraged to apply
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and serve students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Provide support for IEP meetings, goal setting, and intervention planning
