Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP credential (SLP CA) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of school-based speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students K-12th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and support staff to develop strategies for student success
- Engage and update families on student progress, providing resources as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to case management responsibilities
- Adapt therapeutic techniques and materials to meet the unique needs of each student
