Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to design, implement, and track individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined by IEPs
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation for services rendered and student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer consultative support to staff regarding effective communication strategies
