Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Maywood, IL

This assignment covers maternity leave from early to mid-October through March, working across two PreK sites (Bellwood and Whitehall) with children ages 3–5. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team and participate in innovative, transdisciplinary, play-based assessments—an outstanding opportunity to refine your skills, observe different approaches, and grow your resume with new experiences.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license (CFY and CCC-SLP candidates encouraged)
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with PreK populations
- Familiarity with Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessments (preferred)
- Spanish language skills are highly desirable, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to PreK students
- Conduct assessments and participate in team-based evaluation processes
- Support language development with both English and Spanish-speaking children
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement IEPs
- Provide documentation and progress reports as required
