In this role, you will:
- Deliver screenings and diagnostic assessments for speech, language, and hearing
- Develop and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals that comply with all relevant state and federal requirements
- Conduct and document biweekly progress monitoring and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Lead annual IEP reviews, participate in MET/eligibility/IEP meetings, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for school staff by providing in-service education
- Implement tailored therapy programs in group and individual settings
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with families, school staff, and community partners
- Adapt to moderate travel between school sites and perform duties consistent with the physical demands of a typical educational setting—including lifting, movement, and extended periods of standing or sitting
Ideal candidates possess:
- Speech-language pathology certification and current state licensure/certification (Speech/Language Clinician [215] or Speech Associates [216])
- Experience providing speech and language interventions and creating diagnostic/treatment plans
- Skills in IEP planning, documentation, and review in accordance with educational regulations
- The ability to foster meaningful relationships with students, teachers, families, and community agencies
- Readiness for a 9-month contract and flexibility for travel between locations
