What You’ll Bring:
- Valid certification as a Speech/Language Clinician (215) or Speech Associates (216)
- Licensed to practice speech-language pathology within the state education system
- Strong skills performing speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Proficient in diagnostic evaluation and developing individualized treatment plans
- Experience in creating and reviewing IEPs, conducting annual IEP meetings, and monitoring progress biweekly
- Capable of effective collaboration with teachers, families, and outside agencies
- Willingness and ability to travel between work locations as required
- Physical fitness to handle typical school setting activities, including movement throughout schools, some lifting (up to 20 lbs), and periods of sitting or standing
What You’ll Do:
- Provide intervention for a diverse range of speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Conduct routine and referral screenings and assessments for students
- Develop and review IEP goals consistent with current guidelines and regulations
- Deliver in-service education to staff and participate in MET/eligibility/IEP meetings
- Keep thorough and timely therapy progress reports and other essential documentation
- Engage with families and community stakeholders for 360-degree student support
