Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity just outside Marianna, FL, supporting K-12 students for the upcoming school year! This contract role runs from August 10th, 2026 to May 28th, 2027, with a flexible schedule of 35 hours per week—enjoy a traditional Monday through Friday routine or opt for a blend of three days onsite and two days working from home. You’ll collaborate with two other SLPs to manage a caseload of approximately 160 students, focusing on inclusive therapy through both 1:1 and small group formats.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active and valid SLP license for Florida
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable supervising SLPAs and supporting diverse K-12 populations
- Experience or familiarity with inclusive therapy models
- Confident in using Frontline or similar electronic documentation systems
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
- Deliver both individual and small group therapy sessions
- Utilize inclusive therapy strategies to support student progress
- Supervise and mentor assigned SLPA as needed
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and an SLP team of peers
- Complete documentation, progress monitoring, and reporting using Frontline
- Contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
