Step into a rewarding contract role where your expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist will make a meaningful difference for K-12 students. This position begins August 10th, 2026, and runs through May 28th, 2027, offering a weekly schedule of 35 hours (7:30am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday). Flexibility is available, with the option for three days onsite and two days working from home.
Work collaboratively alongside two other SLPs to support a caseload of approximately 160 students, delivering inclusive therapy in a dynamic, supportive environment. Your days will include a mix of individual and small group sessions, providing targeted interventions that promote communication skills across varied abilities. Supervision of an SLPA is also part of the role, allowing you to share your knowledge and contribute to a team-based approach.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in inclusive therapy practices for K-12 populations
- Confident working both 1:1 and in small groups
- Ability and willingness to supervise an SLPA
- Familiarity with Frontline or willingness to learn
- Collaborative and compassionate approach
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Document progress and maintain records using Frontline
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA
