Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience providing SLP services in school settings, specifically K-12
- Competence in delivering both group and one-on-one therapy
- Previous supervision of SLPAs or willingness to oversee support staff
- Proficiency with digital platforms such as Frontline highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement speech-language therapy interventions for students across all grade levels (K-12)
- Serve an average caseload shared among three SLPs, with approximately 160 students total
- Provide both inclusive and pull-out therapy sessions, adapting approaches to meet individualized needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student growth and progress
- Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) while fostering their skill development
- Stay up to date with IEP documentation and compliance procedures through the use of Frontline
