School-Based SLP | Maple Valley, Washington
Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a real impact within an elementary school environment. This full-time, contract role covers a maternity leave from August 26th, 2026 through November 30th, 2026. Work on-site with a supportive team, building relationships with young learners and collaborating closely with teachers and parents.
What we’re looking for:
- Active SLP licensure in the state of Washington
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school setting, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Commitment to working on-site throughout the assignment
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop tailored intervention plans and implement therapy for individuals or small groups
- Consult with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions
