School Speech Therapist | Puyallup, Washington

Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with preference for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY qualification
- Experience working within an elementary school setting or with school-aged children
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Commitment to onsite work throughout the assignment
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a caseload of elementary students needing speech-language supports
- Conducting assessments, generating individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Tracking progress, maintaining records, and updating IEPs as appropriate
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives
