Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a closely related field required
- Active California licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY both encouraged to apply)
- Previous experience working in school settings is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and deliver individualized education plan (IEP) goals and services
- Collect data and maintain accurate records to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide guidance on speech and language interventions
- Offer ongoing support and resources to families to reinforce therapy strategies at home
