Exciting temporary opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make a difference within supportive elementary and early childhood educational settings. These two contract assignments offer the chance to work alongside experienced professionals and serve students with a range of needs—from mild to severe—with a special focus on articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic communication, and high-tech AAC interventions.
Open Assignments:
Part-Time Elementary SLP (Maternity Leave Coverage #2, January 4–March 19, 2027)
- Serve kindergarten through fifth grade students
- School days: 7:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with staff hours 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Participate in staff development January 4–6; student contact begins January 7
- Onsite presence preferred; hybrid service options can be discussed
Full-Time Early Intervention/Preschool SLP (Maternity Leave Coverage #3, February 15–May 27, 2027)
- Provide services for preschoolers ages 3–5
- Staff hours: 7:15 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
- In-person service is required
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP credential
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and documentation
- Ability to support a range of communication needs, including experience with AAC devices
- Strong collaboration skills, as you’ll work closely with another seasoned SLP and school teams
- Adaptability and excellent time management within a fast-paced educational environment
